Stockholm Business Region Development (SBRD) is the official investment promotion agency of Stockholm. We work on a long-term basis with the marketing and development of Stockholm and the Stockholm region as a business destination. The goal is to become the leading growth region in Northern Europe by 2010.

SBRD assists and informs corporate investors about business opportunities in the Stockholm region. We also provide advice and practical assistance, free of charge, to companies setting up or expanding business operations in Stockholm.

SBRD is a subsidiary to Stockholm Business Region. Stockholm Business Region is fully owned by the City of Stockholm. The Group also includes the Stockholm Visitors Board, which markets and develops Stockholm and the Stockholm region as a tourist destination.

Stockholm Business Region is a member of Stockholm Business Alliance (SBA). SBA is a partnership between municipalities in the Stockholm region that was formed to expand and develop work with regional economic policies.
