Finnish Fazer invests in Skogaholms bakery
Skogaholms bakery in Eskilstuna gets a big boost. Fazer chooses to start up two new production lines. This means new and re-employment.
- In March we begin to bake cookies, and this fall we will bake so-called string bread there, said Per Sandberg Managing Director of Fazer to Folket newspaper.
The bread was previously baked at a now defunct bakery in Gothenburg. The production will now be shared by bakeries in Umeå and Eskilstuna. Building plans are also in the works.
- We are making this investment at SEK 80 million to secure the future in Eskilstuna, and ultimately it means that we will need to hire more people, said Per Sandberg to Folket.
